Day 125
This morning Tià takes the Bonnie to the Triumph workshop. It is ruled by a nice Greek guy and he takes care of the motorbike even when the workshop should be closed due to a big party with a minister.
Later we all go to visit the Batu Caves, this is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples inside. It hosts also a giant Lord Murugan statue. It’s more touristic than spiritual, but still a nice place. By the way … If you go there be aware of the monkeys! We have seen one taking a wallet!!!
Next, we head to Jalan Alor food street. It is nice and interesting to see, but again. It’s just too touristic for us, it is full of backpackers and Chinese tourists everywhere. It doesn’t seem where the locals eat street food. However, we are really happy to be here because we can see unique dishes that we haven’t seen before!
