Day 134

Malaysia - October 2018

Day 134

Today we plan to have a lazy day on the beach… it doesn’t sound bad isn’t it? When we arrive to the Pantai Pasir Hitam (or Black Sand Beach) parking we start talking with some locals. They offer us a boat trip through the mangroves. We discuss a bit the price and we take it! (sorry, tons of picks coming)

The landscape is just amazing…

We are lucky to see a couple of white-bellied sea eagles (they are quite big!!)

Some monkeys…

Just chilling…

Then, we visit a cave full of bats (sorry no photos from the bats, they were sleeping and it was dark), and a little walk through the mangroves.

Later, we head to the sea

And we get to stay for a while in a solitary beach!

Last stop with our new friend Sid it’s a fish farmer. We can catch our lunch there!

Once Sid leaves us at the harbour, we finally go to see the Black Sand Beach. It’s so beautiful!
