Day 216

Australia - January 2019

Day 216

That’s your look aftyer having a nice shower and all your clothes cleaned (and washed hair!)!

We stop to get some supplies, and we find this at the supermarket. It’s so nice to offer that!

Next we head again to explore the coast.

Look what we find in the middle of the road! A nice family of emus (the father was gone when I took the pic).

But they are not the only ones to show up… I catch a Kangaroo in the weirdest position.

Today our GPS may be mad at us, because he is trying that we enter here to camp!!!

Finally we reach the Gulf of St Vincent and its camp spot. The sunset is just amazing here…

What’s my surprise when I find that…

Ok, maybe you are not as excited as I am… those are stromatolites (sorry the biologist in me is speaking) and this are layered mounds, columns, and sheet-like sedimentary rocks that were originally formed by the growth of layer upon layer of… Cyanobacteria!!!!! Fossilized stromatolites provide records of ancient life on Earth!!! Be impressed!!!
