Day 237

Australia - February 2019

Day 237

Today we’ll visit the Australian reptile park!!! I’m soooo excited! We’ll get to see the fauna that we haven’t seen yet (as the shy platypus). This is not just a hands-on zoo, they also do a great conservation work including the Tasmanian devil breeding program at Devil Ark, and the lifesaving snake and spider venom collection work. We get to see the Tasmanian devil and the platypus!

Cutenest of the day overload with the koalas.

A bit less cute… American alligators feeding time!

A Yellow footed rock wallaby

The sweet kangaroos.

The happy quokka

The huge Saltwater crocodile. We’ve been told that just the head weights around 80 kg!!!

Notice that it doesn’t move the water when it dives… so you’ll feel that it’s near too late!

Afterwards, we head to the Norah Head to visit the lighthouse.

And for the first time in some days we free camp on the woods!
