Day 205

Australia - January 2019

Day 205

We need to find some warm clothes, because even being summer at night the temperature drops. Once we have them we’ll visit Pixie’s mum.

What’s the most common and normal thing to do in Australia? Find and release a highly venomous snake! Yayyyy! Pixie’s mom calls saying that she’s caught one and she wants to show it to us!!! Let’s go and find out what is it! Once we arrive we notice it can escape through the holes, so we search a big box to put the cage in. Do you guess what we see on in that box?! Some black widow’s nests and spiders! WTF is going on in Australia?! Everything may kill you! Finally we wrap the cage with cloths and we decide to take it to a wild fauna recovery center. They say to us that’s a highly venomous one, and if someone gets bitten it takes 30 minutes to die… nice! They can’t take care of it, so we have to release it back to the wild (ON OUR OWN!!!!).

When we find the right and unhabitated spot, the bravest one releases it!

After this exciting experience we just chill on a short road trip visiting the coast and some wineries. Talking, talking a lot all the time!
