Day 251_to_254
Day 251
How do you send a bike from Malaysia to somewhere in Europe (as near as possible to Spain)? Well at this point we stil don’t have an answer to that. We have some contacts as Daryl (the guy who’d storaged Bonnie the last months) and some company numbers. So, let’s find out!
First of all we need to get back the bike. We are quite excited to have it back!
However the bike is fine… the battery doesn’t want to work
Finally we may depart, because the bike starts. BUT we are dry on gasoline, so we’ll have to stop somewhere to refill… and that means we have to stop the motor and search someone to charge the battery a bit again.
Next, we head to the Triumph Workshop to change the battery (it was a souvenir from Nukus!)
As we do some research about the shippment, and we wait for the bike to be ready: the monsoon strikes pretty hard. So we just stay at the apartment and eventually we go out to eat something (You guess where? Yesss my favourite restaurant in KL!!)
Compare the views from our window
At the end, everything happens really fast. The same day we go to the airport to ask for information we leave the bike for the shipping! It will depart next day in the morning, and we may fly with the very same plane.
So, we buy our flight tickets to London less than 12 hours before the departure. It will take 17 hours nonstop to reach Heathrow!
One of those should be Bonnie!
Ready to fly back!
We are feed every 2-3 hours…
