Day 177_to_179

Malaysia - December 2018

Today we’ll leave Thailand! we spend here more than a month and it has been a pleasure! we fell in love with its landscapes and roads, the underwater life, the temples and celebrations, its kind smiling people and of course the pad thai!

We just cross the border without problems, bye bye Thailand!

We will ride as fast as we can to Sungai Petani (already in Malasia), but there is not a lot to do here. Is just a stop on the way to Kuala Lumpur. However we end up in a nice restaurant full of locals looking a Malaysia - Vietnam match, and it’s quite funny to be with them.

Next day is a full of feelings day… it will be the last day travelling with Bonnie!!!! we are a bit (or a lot) sad cause she is part of the team! However we took this decision some time ago, and its the best option because we need to be in Bali for Christmas (a friend will be joining us there some days), but now it feels like an end. Our plans now are after leaving the bike we’ll fly to Singapur from KL. Then, we take another flight from Singapur to Denpasar (Bali), and we’ll spend some days diving and with a friend while we wait our other friend to come. Not bad at all, isn’t it?

As it’s an special day I get to hold the bike! (just a second in a highway parking)

When we arrive to KL we just head to a mall to have dinner, but we find there a surprise! A roller coaster inside!

And Christmas decoration everywhere (maybe a bit too much)

It’s time to say goodbye to Bonnie. We can’t be prouder of our bike, even not been meant for that trip it did an amazing job. Sometimes we had to ride on tough off-road and it never had a complain!!!! The bike will stay in a warehouse at least 2 months. Til we come back from Australia.

It feels extrange to pack everything for last time, we are not going to wear any more our jackets, boots, helmets and Gore-tex trousers… now it will be time for shorts, flip flops and sunscreen!

We are a bit nervous, we just know Daryl from internet but he seems a really nice guy. At the end he end up being supernice and helpful (if someone needs the contact to leave a bike in KL write to us).

So far we have done 18.880 km in 6 months through 19 countries… not bad isn’t it? Now the adventure will continue but in another way. As backpackers through Singapur and Indonesia and then with a camp car in Australia!!!! Another dream becoming true!
