Day 78

We want to be lost in Jaipur’s bazaar, so we go there early in the morning (maybe this way it’s not crowded). In fact, it’s a nice experience! We slept well at the “princess hotel” (That’s how Tià calls it) and we are also relieved because we left New Delhi.

Then we just walk around the city without a destiny. Today is Krishna Janmashtami, that’s an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna. Hindus celebrate Janmashtami by fasting, singing, praying together, preparing and sharing special food, with night vigils and visiting Krishna or Vishnu temples. Which means that there is music and colours everywhere! We love it!
